Day of foamy family fun planned for Leduc

June 8, 2017 by

This July, an event will be coming to Leduc that will combine running, foam and a chance to get dirty, all while having fun with friends and family.

The Leduc 5K Foam Fest, a family friendly foam party, will include a whole lot more than just a messy but good time. TEBEY will be taking to the stage for a live performance, and there will also be a beer garden with its hours extended for the festival. A huge fireworks show will cap off the day’s excitement, which event organizers say is the best in the whole province.

Kids who come out for the day will be able to spend time with activities in the Kid’s Zone that has been planned just for them. Food will be available for purchase, and there will also be a wide assortment of vendors set up for the day.

The foam run is open to those age 8 and over, and if they are between 8 and 12 years old, they will need to have a parent or guardian run with them. Pop up banners and other promotional products for use during an event such as this can be crafted by a local print company.

The event will take place in Leduc’s William F. Lede Park on July 1st, and more information and an opportunity to purchase tickets ahead of time can be found on The 365 Group’s website.
