Crohn’s and colitis fundraiser planned for Mississauga

Inflammatory bowel diseases such as Chron’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect many Canadians, and during a Mississauga event , the public will have an opportunity to show their support for those living with them.

This will be the 22nd year for the Peel Region Gutsy Walk, which has been organized by Crohn’s and Colitis Canada as one of its signature fundraisers. It will be held at different locations all across the country, and in Mississauga, those who take part will joining others from the Peel area. Everyone is welcome, and people are invited bring along their pet, so long as he or she is on a leash.

According to the organizers, the walk will not only serve as a fundraiser, but will also show support for those living with inflammatory bowel disease. People can join on their own or form a team, as the more people who participate, the more impact the day will have. Anyone who raises more than $100 will receive a free custom designed t-shirt. A printer can use graphic design to craft items such as these.

The Peel Region Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis has been planned for Erindale Park areas C and D on June 4. The organizers have made more information available on the event’s website, and wish to extend a thank you to all those who have already shown their support.
