Christmas celebrations coming to downtown Woodstock

November 16, 2016 by

The town of Woodstock will be hosting holiday celebrations throughout the month of December, and people from throughout the local area are invited to come and get in on the fun.

To mark this festive time of year, Santa’s House will be set up where visitors, young and old alike, will be able to visit with the big man himself and have their photos taken with him thanks to the Woodstock Camera Club. In addition to this, a horse-drawn sleigh will be offering rides through the downtown community. To help make it easier for people to visit the area and complete their gift shopping, visitors will even be able to utilize three hours of free parking instead of the usual two.

To add to the fun, the neighborhood will be lit up with lots of lights and decked out in an assortment of colorful decorations for shoppers to enjoy. A printer can supply holiday cards and other promotional products to help market events such as this throughout the local area. They can be distributed through the mail, or given out in downtown shops.

Santa’s House, will be open on Friday evenings and Saturdays from December 2 until 23. The free sleigh rides will also be held on those dates so long as the weather permits. Further details about the activities and special offers are available on the Downtown Woodstock website.
