Chance to become part of Pickering’s annual Petapolooza

Pet products and services will be showcased during the 6th annual Petapolooza in a couple of months.

Exhibitors and sponsors are needed for the upcoming event, which will be hosted by Pickering Animals Services. The tradeshow will be conducted in May to honor Responsible Pet Ownership Month – a provincially initiated mandate to increase the awareness for responsible pet ownership.

This is an opportunity for established businesses, or newcomers servicing the many needs of pets, including art, pet clothing and healthcare. Exhibitor fees start at $30 for a 10×10 foot plot.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to distribute promotional products, flyers and brochures. Luxury business cards will also help to ensure their business is utilized by consumers after the event.

Petapolooza will be held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday May 13th, at Grand Valley Park in Pickering.

This year marks Canada’s 150th birthday on July 1, with the Petapolooza as an important part of the festivities preceding it. As a special bonus during the tradeshow this year, a microchip clinic will be made available for guests and their pets to take advantage of.

As part of the tradition, all funds incurred during the event are promised to the Pickering animal shelter. The care and commitment to animals provided by this clinic is a valuable resource to the pet owners of Pickering.
