Car show comes to Stoney Creek

June 7, 2017 by

A car show will be held this month in downtown Stoney Creek, as part of the annual Strawberry Festival.

Classic cars and cruisers, antique sports cars and muscle cars will all be on display. There will also be a selection of modern electric vehicles, with the opportunity for a free test drive. This will be provided courtesy of Plug‘n Drive, a non-profit organization that aims to accelerate the take up of electric vehicles because of the economic and environmental benefits they provide.

This family-friendly event offers free admission, lots of activities for children, sidewalk vendors, and live music. It is a full day event, running from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

As part of the mandate for the Downtown Stoney Creek Business Improvement Area (BIA), several sponsorship and vendor packages are available for this event. Custom packages may be created for interested businesses and merchants, and may include banners, flyers and promotional products. Limited spaces are available.

The car show will provide visitors with an opportunity to test drive the latest technology offered by Canadian manufacturers in electric vehicles. Information will also be provided about the incentives offered by the provincial government for purchasing an electric vehicle in Ontario.

The car show will be held on Sunday June 18th, at 39 King Street East in Stoney Creek. More information can be obtained from Driven Marketing by calling 289-292-0511.
