Canada Day celebration promises to be one of the biggest

The Canada 150 Canada Day Celebrations are taking place in North Vancouver next month. It is a presentation of the Rotary Club of Lions Gate.

This is an extra special celebration which recognizes the sesquicentennial of the confederation of Canada. There will be a full afternoon of family friendly activities. There will be music from groups such as Tiller’s Folly, Apollo’s Crush and the Marcus Mosely Chorale, dance performances and other entertainment.

For the children, there will be appearances by the Hula Hoop Fairy and Cosmo Clown. There will also be inflatable bounce houses and other fun activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

This celebration also has an evening event aimed at the adults. There will be a concert by Tom Lavin and The Legendary Powder Blues Band and Dreams. There will also be food trucks and a beer garden. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to watch the Vancouver fireworks display.

Organizers may invest in products such a pop up banners to highlight specific areas of the North Vancouver celebration venue.

The Canada 150 Canada Day Celebration will be held at Waterfront Park on July 1 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm; the evening event will be held from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Admission is free of charge. Call 604-983-6575 for the most up-to-date information.
