Camrose makes time for moms

March 12, 2017 by

This year, Camrose families that are looking for a special gift for mom may wish to mark their calendars for an upcoming event.

Certified Health Coach Allyson Mantey will be hosting a session of pampering for moms, daughters and any other women who would like to have an evening of relaxation. Those who come out will learn how to craft their very own lip balms, body butters, foot and hand scrubs, room sprays and more. As a part of the activity, they will be able to try out the products they created, and will even be able to take some home with them. Popup banners can be created for businesses that host events such as this, as one can be set up for use and when the function is over, it can be folded up and stored to be used during the next one.

Participants will also discover how to use essential oils to enhance their cooking, and tea and light refreshments will be served to all the guests. Tickets for the evening are $25 each. Anyone with questions, or who would like to register, is asked to contact Jane Cherry-Lemir at 780-672-9949. She can also be reached through email at jcherry@camrose.ca.

The evening of pampering for moms will be held on May 10 in the Chuck MacLean Arts Centre from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Additional details can be found by visiting the Camrose website.
