Calgary residents invited to get their craft on

An upcoming workshop will give people in Calgary a chance to channel their inner creativity to produce some rustic holiday decorations for their home.

The session will begin with an exercise designed to unlock each participant’s creative spirit, after which the attendees will work on the crafts. There will be time for socializing and getting to know one another, and drinks will be available.

Each person who comes out will receive all of the supplies they need to create three different ornaments using mostly natural materials. The organizer of an evening like this can utilize brochures and other printed materials to promote itself and its upcoming activities to the local community.

The event is only open to people ages 18 and over, and those who plan on coming out are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early so they can find their seats and get comfortable before the workshop begins. It will be facilitated by Jennifer Rondeau, a local artist who works with mixed media.

The Rustic Ornament Workshop will be held on December 13 from 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm at Double Zero. The venue is located at 751 4th Street SW in Calgary. Tickets are priced at $40.00 each, and they can be purchased by visiting the function’s Eventbrite page, which also includes further details about the event and its organizers.
