Calgary planning fun in the sun this summer

This summer, Calgary will be spending a day enjoying the warmth of an Alberta summer at the Inglewood Sunfest.

This free event will feature a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy. Kids can burn off some energy in the bouncy castles, while young and old alike can enjoy the live entertainment and take in a show from one of the street performers, do some browsing and shopping, or have a bite to eat. A printer can provide any enterprises that will be taking part with branded labels and other packaging supplies for the products they will be offering to the public.

It is expected than more than 200 vendors will be participating, and everything from handcrafted items made in the local area, to imported goods from around the world will be on offer. According to the organizers, they are interested in hearing from businesses that are interested in setting up a booth or display, and also anyone who would like to volunteer during the event. There are a variety of opportunities available for those who wish to lend this community-based function a helping hand.

Inglewood Sunfest has been planned for August 5 on Inglewood’s Main Street. Anyone who would like to participate as a vendor or volunteer, or who simply wishes to find out additional information is invited to visit the event’s website.
