British Car Day to return to Oakville area for another year

August 26, 2016 by

Oakville residents are invited to head to an event in nearby Bronte Creek Provincial Park that will bring together a huge collection of British automobiles.

British Car Day is the biggest event of its kind to take place in North America. Its organizers expect that as many as 1,000 cars and 8,000 visitors will take part in the event. It is hosted each year by the Toronto Triumph Club and it is open to anyone who would be interested in participating.

There will be displays of both current and vintage cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles, all of which were manufactured in Britain, and there will also be a space for non-British cars and vendors as well. A company that produces promotional products will be able to create ones to help market large events such as this.

The vendors who will be on hand will be selling a wide range of U.K. related products, t-shirts, tools, hats, books, and more. According to the organizers, many of the sellers will be offering end of season discounts, so this is the place for shoppers who are looking for a bargain.

There will also be a best in show and participants’ choice contest for those who wish to enter their cars.

The event will take place on September 18 from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm in Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Anyone who would like to learn more is invited to visit its website.
