Annual show brings the best wine and food to London

December 20, 2016 by

The London Wine and Food Show is returning to the city for three days next month.

The event is a showcase of the best wine, beer, spirits and food that the city has to offer, with admission restricted to those aged 19 and over. There will be unlimited opportunities to sample (tasting tickets are purchased separately), seminars (tasting and educational) and cooking demonstrations. Celebrity chefs will be on hand to show off their skills and exhibitors will be displaying their most current products, such as cookware. There will also be fashion shows, the Dairy Capital Cheese Fest and live musical entertainment.

The show is a good opportunity for London area wineries, breweries and restaurants to become better known in the city and gain more regular customers. It is also a chance for residents to discover a new restaurant.

The show will be heavily advertised in London and no doubt will include flyers that can be easily and inexpensively distributed.

The London Wine and Food Show will be held at the Metroland Media Agriplex from January 19 to 21. Tickets for the first day of the show are $12 in advance or $15 at the door, and $15 or $20 for Friday and Saturday. Couples’ tickets are $50 on Thursday or $44 for Friday and Saturday, and they include 30 sampling coupons. Call 519-438-7203 for the latest information.
