Annual event helps wildlife get back home

The 10th annual A Charity Event is taking place in London next month. It is hosted by Jeve’s Pet Care and is a fundraiser for the Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre, Inc.

The event will feature a full night of activities. The night includes a hot and cold buffet with beverages. There will also be a talk by guest speaker Brian Salt, the founder and director of Salthaven. Lastly, this will be followed by a dance performance by Jamie, Brooke and Olivia, and a silent auction.

Items included in the silent auction have in the past included gift certificates and works of art. Organizers are still accepting donations from local businesses and individuals.

Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre works to increase public awareness of the plight of wild animals. It also helps rehabilitate wildlife so that they can return to a full life in the wild. Over the years, this event has raised over $30,000 for the center.

London poster printing firms often help to advertise events such as this by designing and printing posters to be posted around the community.

A Charity Event will be held at the Covent Garden Market on February 22 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Tickets are $75 each. For more information, contact Jeve’s Pet Care at 519-854-5383.
