Animal information session planned for University of Guelph

October 10, 2016 by

The University of Guelph will be hosting an information evening for high school students who may be interested in pursuing a career working with animals.

The University’s Ontario Agricultural College has issued an invitation to students, their families, teachers, and guidance counselors to a session that will provide an outline of the types of programs it offers. These include a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management with a major in Equine Management, a Bachelor of Science with a major in Animal Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science.

Faculty and students will be on hand to answer questions and give further details, and there will be both free refreshments and parking. Digital printing can be used to create brochures and other informational materials that can be distributed to those who take part in an event such as this.

There is no charge to attend the information evening, but since space is limited, those who are interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible. The event will be held on November 24 from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm in room 442 of the University Centre.

Anyone who would like to register or find out more details about the Animal Information Night can do so by visiting its website or calling Lindsay Stallman at 519-824-4120 ext. 56812.
