AED and CPR demo planned for Moose Jaw

More and more public facilities are installing automated external defoliators (AEDs) and during a demonstration that has been planned for Moose Jaw, locals are invited to come and learn how they work and how they can use them in an emergency situation.

The event, which will be facilitated by a trained guide, will give the public an opportunity to learn more about how both AEDs and performing CPR can save lives. They will see how they are performed, and ask any questions they might have, including how and when they should be used. This will be done using hands-on techniques, which will give those who participate a chance to try them out for themselves.

In addition to the demonstration and questions and answer time, attendees will each receive a special coupon that will entitle them to a 10% discount from the regular registration price for OHS, SFA/CPR and AED training sessions. It will be held in the St. John Ambulance Training Centre in the Town n’ Country Mall. Anyone who is interested can register in person or online. An assortment of customized promotional products can be created by a printed for distribution during an event such as this.

The demonstration will take place on Thursday, June 1 at 1:00 pm and again at 3:00 pm. More details can be found on the Discover Moose Jaw website.
