Abbotsford residents invited to local floral festival

February 4, 2017 by

Early this spring, an event will be held in the Abbotsford area that will give both horticulturalists and home gardeners alike an opportunity to take some time to stop and smell the flowers.

The family friendly Bradner Flower Show will feature a huge assortment of floral and plant displays, as well as crafts. Hundreds of different cultivars of daffodils will be showcased, and visitors will have an opportunity to participate in presentations by guest speakers, and enjoy live music and the wine and food that will also be available. Businesses that take part in an event like this can have luxury business cards prepared to hand out to anyone who asks for their contact information.

When attendees are finished browsing, they can even take a piece of the event home with them by purchasing some of the cut flowers that will be made available for sale. All the floral designs will be prepared by Simply Perfect Flowers, and proceeds from the cut flower sales will be donated to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

This festival of all things floral will be held from April 7 to 9 in the Bradner Hall and School, which is located at 5305 Bradner Road. It has been planned to offer something for people of all ages, and the admission price is $2 each. Additional information can be found on the Tourism Abbotsford website.
